A somewhat unique find, I believe:
Oscar Bluth Top Hat.

It's somewhere between a 59 and 60, so sadly, too large for me.

Calling Wegener experts! Could anyone let me know if the Wegener "Royal" line post 1967 is good quality? Were they wool or fur? Thanks in advance!

Steve, Super Find! It's always great to see an old Seiden Zylinderhut. The original box is really fantastic! I will have to see if I have anything on Oscar Bluth Berlin. What is the latest medal + date on the box?

Wegener was fur felt but most likely machine blocked if it's 1967 and later. The form would be of the time. I have come across Wegener "Royal" hats but I don't have any examples. I am mostly focused 1950s and earlier but also some early 1960s. Do you have photos?

Here is a Wegener "Royal" "Bonnie & Clyde" that 1966 or a bit later and was posted here back in 2014 As you can see it's of very good quality. I made a comment after the post.

Thanks, Steve. It was a real joy to find this one.

The latest medal on the box is in connection with Carl Bluths participation in the Berlin Trade Fair of 1896.

Berliner Gewerbeausstellung 1896.
