This is a completely rebuilt Allie Maillard Hat Conformateur.
It is in working order and ready to use. It is NOT new, and has some minor cosmetic imperfections.
The brass parts are all individually polished.
The top flap and base ring are covered in very thin naugahyde.
It is adjusted but may need to be adjusted a bit more, based on the formillian you use.
There are NO broken keys and nothing is missing.
There are hundreds of hours into this project.
The first one I rebuilt some 35 years ago was sold to the world famous, Lock & Co. Hatters of London.
Price is very well worth the time it takes to rebuild on of these tools.
