It also has to do with how you wear your jeans. My jeans is lower in the front so this also adds to the jacket looking shorter in the front.

I get it now. I never even thought about how pecs & stomach can affect the front of a jacket. I'll have to see how my other jackets fit. Buying a custom jacket isn't easy!

if you are unsure about sizing, bigger is better as you can shrink most leather jackets down a size or so.
