help! my brim is crooked!

I know I may seem too worried about it, but my fed iv fell on the floor and sat that way overnight and now the brim is unlevel. I've tried steam, etc but I can't seem to get it perfect, is there a way to get it back the way it was? I think one issue is that the bent side is more flexible than the other now

Check out this YouTube video. In lieu of it, I'm surprised you're having problems. You can generally maul the crap out of Federations without any repercussions. Sorry to hear. It's certainly not ruined.

At the very worst, you might need the brim to be flanged. Not to worry. Any pics would help.

So... it can take storms, horse back rides, trips through the outback, and sleepless nights under the sky, but death knells resound as the floor rapidly approaches.

If it is only slightly assymetrical, I wouldn't worry about it. The fedora I wore today has that characteristic, but it looks great anyway.

Bendingoak mentioned flanging, that would be a definite route to take all else having failed.

Perhaps if you posted a pix we could see just how crooked this situation is. Contacting Hats Direct straight away could most likely help your problem

I really appreciate all of your help. I should have been more clear, to the average person walking down the street wouldn't know it, but when I look in the mirror it's not symetrical. Maybe I'm a little OCD

Sounds to me like you are talking about the type of process that a hat undergoes as it is used regularly and that gives it the personal character that so many hat users cherish in their hats. That is, it no longer looks like it just came from the store, but is slowly acquiring a look of its own.

Not a bad thing at all, IMHO, but let's see the pics!

Yes, yes! Hats do acquire character in the same manner as musical instruments do. These characteristics make the hat or musical instrument better.

I don't think I can don a hat the same way twice. Just a few millimeters difference each time give the hat a whole new look. There are so many angles to behold.

Good grief, my nose is crooked, my eyes are not perfectly horizontal, my nipples are uneven, my ........ I give up!
