Hi Friends,
I posted this request in a couple of places related to our last Fedora Lounge "Adventure Aboad the Queen Mary" back in May but haven't gotten any one to step up and give me the help needed.
I took some 4-5 hours worth of raw footage of the event with various segments covered either briefly or in depth. Now my pc has some sort of problem when it comes to video that I am unable to fix to be able to edit the stuff I shot and do some postings to You-tube. I am also in the position of not being able to run out and get a new PC or laptop for the project right now. Hoping the future will allow me such a budget.
I need some help with this- my video is on the MINI DVD format and is in standard definition. To download you need the tray type of dvd player in your computer the other slip in type won't accept the mini dvds.
There are location shots and some long sections. I have way too much at the picnic that could be brought down to about 5 or 6 cuts of 5-10 second shots for the picnic and some chunks of interview stuff at the end. Some other stuff is parsed and might not need a lot of handling.
We also did some seminar presentations that are long but great info, these would need just a little editing but would need dividing up into more sections to be under the maximum time allowed for stuff posted on you tube.
Anyway it would have to be a pro-bono job or a freebie as a labor of love. Also I would say that it does not have to be an award winning work either but just to get this up on the web so that our members can go and see it, those that came can relive the fun and it can be an introduction to the Fedora Lounge for people that might see it and be intrigued and/or enjoy the vintage aspects of what we do.
So if you're in So-Cal and have some time to help contact me and we'll see what we can do.
