I bought this hat recently, but it is too big for me. I should have ordered a 2XL, not a 3XL. I am between a 7 5/8 and a 7 3/4, so I would say that it will fit a 7 7/8 to 8. Yes, it's very big. 
It's a rugged outdoor/rain hat with a nice distressed finish. The three-inch wire brim can be custom shaped. The tag is still attached. Mint condition.
