Relisting this High Notch jacket, Izumiya’s rare in-house brand. Those of you who are familiar with Dr. Needles know what we’re dealing with here—quality equal to or exceeding the top jacket makers in Japan. It is very difficult to find real listings of his jackets online. I believe these days he’s mostly just doing repairs and putting out the occasional A2. Buffalo check cotton flannel lining in body and slash pockets

Black satin lining in sleeves

Wool storm cuffs

Hanging chain

Inner pocket on left side

Adjusters on sides and wrists

Slight teacore coming through on shoulders

It’s front quarter horsehide, as shown on the label. I believe he often sources his leather from Shinki tannery, and I had one of his jackets in the past that was Shinki according to a trusted forum member. But I can’t say for certain where this jacket’s leather was sourced.
