Hi all,
My name is Jared, Im new around here. I thought I would pitch here one of my other hobbies. I love building scale plastic models. Mostly WWII warbirds. As I am a builder and not a collector I routinely sell of built models to help fund my hobby. I compete with die cast prices but what you get is a much more detailed finished product. Die cast models tend to be clean and clunky looking, where my plastic models are highly detailed right out of the box. That however is just a starting point for me. Most of my models are upgraded to an award winning level of detail (I have the plaques to prove it.) My goal is always to bring these models to life in the way they are painted and finished. I attempt to make them look as they would in the battlefields of Europe, Africa, and the Pacific.
The following pictures are a current batch of models I have finished in the last year.
