Take a look at the episode of Hawaii Five-0 last night. The entire episode can be viewed on the CBS website for those who might have missed it. A major part of the storyline dealt with the recovery of WWII remains from the ocean and their identification. Featured briefly was the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command Central Identification Labratory and the work it conducts to identify those missing in action from WWII, Korea, Vietnam and other battles.

The H50 episode showed some of the recovered items with the remains, such as military gear and personal items. These items are on display at the JPAC CIL and rarely seen by the public.

This is the JPAC website: http://www.jpac.pacom.mil/index.php?page=home&size=100&ind=0

This is the Central Indentification Labratory web page: http://www.jpac.pacom.mil/index.php?page=cil

This is the H50 episode from last night (October 10, 2011) to view (it is only available for a short time): http://www.cbs.com/shows/hawaii_five_0/video/
