How are Stetsons today??

Ok, I have a couple of Biltmores that I like, and a few cheapos for beating around in but I kind of like the look of the Stetson Chatham. Anyone have experience with the new Stetsons?

I have a Chatham and I like it just fine. It is pretty supple, comfortable and since it is a beater, have worn it in the rain several times. It still looks just fine.

Biltmores work just fine for me but if it is a new hat in that price range you are looking for, consider the new Akubra Pliofelt Casual fedora which costs $104 at David Morgan. It holds up better than the Stetson in foul weather.

I too have a Stetson Chatham. I like it very much. It is very comforable, and I like the lines. It is easily shaped and holds that shape. I haven't had it that long, and I haven't worn it foul weather yet, so I can't vouch for how it will hold up. I'm sure I'll get the chance now that fall weather has arrived here in New England. Although I'm no expert, it's not as nice as some of my vintage hats. All in all, it's a nice hat, and I'm satisfied with it.
