I Found these pants, what are they?

I found these pants last week and I was wondering if somebody could give me some background info on them. Thanks!

West German Army, most likely '60s but that style ran for a good few years.
Do they have a waterproof(crinkly sounding) interlining in the knees?

Coloquially referred to as Filzlaus!
(Felt louse, from what I can understand- ITCHY!)

Not too bad vintage-ey outdoor gear if you lose the cargo pockets.

Jawohl! Bundeswehr filzlaus!

Without the cargo pockets, passably similar to WW2 panzer trousers. At a distance.
