I'm an odd size

Since my well-worn double-breasted wool overcoat sprouted holes in both elbows and rid itself of all the right-side buttons in ONE WEEK, I figure it's high time to find myself another coat before the real cold season comes. I went looking over at Macy's last night with my girlfriend, where we discovered an unofortunate fact:

38-Long coats are pretty darn rare.

I'm very tall and pretty thin (narrow-shouldered, at least), and so I'm kind of stuck as to where I can find a new coat. The only places that I can find online that sell my size are a chauffeur uniform company, and one other that conveniently featured a photograph of only the MIDDLE section of the coat.

Anyone got any tips?

I live in New York, if anyone might know of some smaller shops I could hit.
