Ink on the brim of a felt hat

Does anyone know how to get ball point pen ink off the underside of the brim of a felt hat? It looks like a signature. I'll take any suggestions at this point!

It's an ebay auction. I like the hat. It's a perfect outdoor hat. It is an autograph....just not anyone I care about or want on my hat. IF I win the auction I will post pictures

There is a posting about somebody using a product they got with leather furniture to remove ball point ink from a hat with good results. You can try cigarette lighter fluid. I used that to get what looked like a felt tip pen writing off the inside of a vintage hat that I am flipping inside-out.
