Yes! Just shoot us an email to email@example.com and we can go over this!
Thank you Carrie.
This leather would elevate the gambler to a new level. It really screams cross zip to me. Might be time to start crunching numbers.
Definitely! The Bainbridge is absolutely spectacular--it literally looks like a 70 year old vintage jacket within only a few hours of wear. The shine starts to knock off and the beauty of the full grain hide begins to pull up from the light wax finish. If you like full grain leather, you're going to love the Bainbridge!
A Vanson cafe racer in this would be gorgeous. Maybe with some subtle contrast arm rings...too much?....
Damn you for planting that seed!!
What country is the Bainbridge leather tanned/produced in?
Hmmm...I think this falls under the category of Thurston trade secrets However, we can assure you that the leather is tanned and produced by a very old, established and respected First World tannery!
Stunning custom Aero Bootlegger--the light tan stitching and golden cotton lining really make this design pop! If you are starting to think about the fall (we are already into chilly weather here in Seattle), contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to plan your cold weather jacket!
We've decided to call this Bainbridge color "Dark Maple!"
Here's a cool photo showing the Bainbridge Dark Maple leather after just a little bit of wear!
Buchanon Blue is one of our favorite tartans--the blue and brown tones pair well with both black and brown leathers! Here's a custom Cafe Racer in Black CXL FQHH for a customer in California. We're currently filling up our September production batch of orders...contact us at email@example.com to reserve your spot and get your fall/winter jacket in the queue!
Is this Bainbridge available in black?
Absolutely--the Bainbridge in Black is no problem!
Here's another Vanson Oxford that we've just listed on our Vanson Stock page. This is made with a new leather called Whidbey! This leather is thick and supple with varied grain throughout. The color is a rich, deep brown with just a hint of shine...this leather will develop and evolve with wear to show a beautiful natural patina!
Here's our official description of the Whidbey leather from our website:
Our Whidbey leather is a full grain bovine hide sourced from an Old World tannery that focuses on leather with a natural appeal. This leather is chrome-tanned with a light wax finish to emphasize the leather’s natural characteristics and beauty. Thickness is approximately 1.4-1.5 mm. We’ve hand-selected this leather for its suppleness and natural aging properties. With plenty of wear, the leather will develop a superb patina with ample grain and tone variation. Our Whidbey displays all the characteristics of full grain Old World leather while adding a rich, luxurious feel. Whidbey is available from Thurston Bros. for off-the-rack and custom jackets.

I seldom leave comments but the leather on this Vanson seems outstanding! Wow
Thanks ElCamillou! The Bainbridge and the Whidbey are both superb, but with differences that are important to note. The Bainbridge has grain and tone that is amazingly varied while the Whidbey is more even in nature. The Bainbridge has a wonderful depth (so deep and rich) while the Whidbey displays more traditional chrome and veg-tanned characteristics. While both have a natural scent that is delightful, each scent is quite distinct. Each leather with develop incredible patina with time and wear, but the Bainbridge will develop at a much quicker pace! The Whidbey will evolve at a more traditional rate.
@Carrie @ Thurston Bros. So weve seen what youre calling Dark Maple in Bainsbridge, and someone asked if you could do black and you said yes. Does that mean almost any color is available Bainsbridge style so to speak, or are you offering a certain handful of colors? I would just like to know exactly what kind of color options are available to us. Thanks!!
Right now we're offering the Bainbridge in Dark Maple and Black!
Fresh listing on our Aero Stock page! Size 48 Highwayman in Brown FQHH...deep, dark brown hide with lots of interesting character--
