Gorgeous jacket!

That is actually a 42 or a size XL... The IH denim jackets have confusing labels- they just use the jeans labels, so that L on the right hand side of the 42 stands for "length" not "large". The W on the left hand side of 42 strands for "waist".

A large size would be a 40.

To be even more confusing, some IH jackets use small, medium, large etc, and others use proper numbers...
