Is this possible?

I am thinking about reblocking my hat. It is a rabbit felt fedora. I bought it two years ago and back then it was too tapered for my taste (and I believe for your's too). After too years of molesting it I decided that it is time for a professional help. To give you the idea of what I want to do here are some pictures of the hat and a little drawing which kinda shows what I would like to do with it. (on the left hand side is how the hat looks now and on the right is how I would like it to look)

So what do you people think?

I think in order to get the no taper "squared off' look you are going to lose height on the crown.

By the time you pay postage to send it to a hatter and pay for the reblock you would probably spend less if you just spent some time on ebay and bought a different hat.
