I will admit to having more than once attempted the technique myself. But the little munchkin in the video is a true Master -

Looks like the same technique used to "relax" the fit of coats in "Are You Being Served?" :eusa_doh:

While checking out a few other videos in that same area I found this one of a guy making a hat block.
