Hi. I do not own the M43. I have the Combat version as well.

But from all the boots i tried in the shop from John Lofgren, these Monkey Boots were the most comfy as you can really shape them around your feet. Hope it helps

Thanks for this - unfortunately, I don't own the Combat version...what do you usually wear in boots / what is your brannock? I have quite a high / wide front foot so want to make sure these won't be too small.

I wear usually size 9 but when purchasing the Monkey Boots, they told me that these go half size smaller compared to other John Lofgren boots.
I also have a high foot on the top of the foot and i would also say im a bit wide too and i always strugle to find comfy boots because of that. I feel always tight on top of my feet. Thats why when i tried these boots, i felt good in them due to the design and being able to tight as light as i want on my foot and shape it against the curvature of my foot.
I never used this Brannock measurements so no idea my foot is 27cm long if that helps
