Looks like Resistol is releasing a 10X John Wayne calvalry hat as part of their John Wayne Collection (the others are a straw, black 4x felt, and black wool crushable):
$300 bones.....I actually kinda like it!
I like that one too...I have just the hat for that conversion....it's almost there now...I have the crown shaped about right, (in fact, I was inspired by one of John Wayne's Westerns when I shaped it). I just need to replace the hat band and do a little tweaking on brim...(the felt on this hat is the densest I ever handled).
