kids penney leather jacket?

Well todaas at a vintage car show/swpmeet. I was browsing the all the hotrod merchandise and came across an old leather a2 styled kids jacket. On the tag it said Penney. The jacket was worn and dirty. The interior liner was torn. The seller was asking$15. What can you guys tell me aboutbthis coat. Should I have bought it?

Unless you have a kid, it's worthless. Vintage kids' clothes are not desirable as collectibles, no matter how rare or cool.

... especially during an economic recession. However, vintage baby and toddler clothing is always sought after by doll and teddy bear collectors, who tend to dress their toys in such duds.
