Talk about dry scandanavian humor....I watched this last night and loved it.
It's based on the true story of a 1950s government study of the kitchen habits of single Norwegian men. The observer sat in a tennis-referee-like high chair in a corner of a subject's kitchen and took notes all day. One of the rules for the observers is to not make friends with the subject. But of course these two men eventually do. The soundtrack is very upbeat...even plays the Delta Rhythm Boys singing one of their hits in Norwegian.
