Knox Foxhound

I would like to know what you guys think it might be worth?.It's in excellent condition and the knox hat box is in great shape.The hat color is black and is a Foxhound.(I know without pictures you can not say for sure,I am just looking for a rough estimate,a guess based on past auctions or private seller.)

There are far too many variables to say for sure. I'd say the most important one will be size. The larger the hat the more $. I think this is something johnnyphi hasn't quite figured out yet.

As guys like Gene and Bolthead prove, you can get nearly any hat in a size 6 3/4 or 7 for under $100 - most for under $50. Without intending to knock the hat, the foxhound isn't one of the models that's in high demand, though I think that it's one of the models that has quite a bit of variation in it from decade to decade.

If we're talking about one that might currently be available on some internet site where auctions take place, it's currently worth .99.

Actually it COSTS to have a big melon...The smaller sizes are always cheaper.[huh]
