Lady's Hat Sizes...Is there a difference?

Please pardon if this is a dumb question. The lovely Mrs. Stover has decided now that she needs a hat! Yeh, that is good for me, because if she gets bitten with the bug, then I can get a few more without getting into trouble!

I measured her head with a sewing tape and it came out to be 22 inches. Are there differences in lady's sizes from men's? If she wears a 22 inch hat, is it the same as it would be in a man's size 22? It appears to be a 7 or 7 1/8. Is there a difference in women's hat sizes?

I gotta get her hooked quick....that way I can get some more! Or some Moore!

That's the same way I figured out dee's size. Mike just made a 7 1/8 same as normal.

Beware on the getting her hooked, Dee has more hats than me...:eusa_doh:
