Difficult sale here! This is a jacket I have really wanted to fit me ever since it first arrived. I just have to realize it's not happening. Slightly too short in both the front and back for my frame, it leads me to not wear it, even though this has the most stunning 10+ lbs of late 1980's Langlitz Cowhide I have witnessed on any of their jackets. Great condition, no odors or stains, and I had two inner pockets realized with sailcloth, and the two main handwarmer pockets re-lined with goatskin at Langlitz last spring. I planned to keep this jacket indefinitely!
Full 10-pocket jacket with epaulets on the shoulders, produced sometime after 1985 due to the tag stating "USA" at the bottom. No odors, rips, stains, loose seams, all zippers (Brass Talon) work perfectly, there is one snap "backing" missing under the lower collar lapel (see photos, I may see if a leather show in my area can attach one of these this weekend), or Langlitz could do it for you. Full disclosure, prior to my ownership this jacket had a few Harley-Davidson patches on it, which were all professionally removed. They are very hard to see the outlines from, but they are there. Priced accordingly. The sleeves appear to have been widened (also by Langlitz) at some point; however, they have never been an issue. Possibly someone was setting up for a stripe effect, and it did not occur? No smoke or mildew odors, just a light leather scent. Lining is in excellent condition.
