Going to bring this thread back to life, hope that's okay.

Being a short and husky, "LOTR dwarves" kinda guy, I have a stack of leather jackets that need to be altered (sleeves at a minimum). I live in the greater Dallas area and I've been calling around, but local tailors say they can't work on thick leather and/or the cuffs are so narrow they need a free-arm machine. Anyone able to provide some advice and/or contact info to a trusted tailor? Would rather not break the bank if at all possible.
