Leather/ Suede Hats

A question for the Lounge...has anyone ever owned or worn a leather or suede hat? I see some nice fedora and bush styles offered by BC Hats and other Aussie makers. But it seems like the hats would make your head hot most of the year. Also, do they feel heavy when you wear them?

Suede

I have an old Churchill stingy brim hat made of suede I bought decades ago.

Could never keep it on my head for very long as it was too hot to wear in a temperate climate; has sat in a closet ever since. Don't know about leather.

Some of the leather hats that I have seen are very lightweight and so quite comfortable. others heavy and hot. Materials vary
