Lewis Leathers lining options

Hi,

Would be interested getting your thought about the lining options offered by Lewis Leathers.

Among the two LL I own, one is lined (body) with black nylon and I feel it too scratchy on the back of the neck. The other one is red cotton (with no quilt), very comfy but I have to say I am not a huge fan or the red color.
The satin lining for the sleeves feels perfect to me, unfortunately it's not applicable for the body.

I am currently thinking to buy my 3rd LL and I have to choose a lining option.
Red tartan would be cool, but I wonder if it would be too warm...

What are your thought / experiences on this topic?

Cheers !

Lewis Leathers offers tartan? Huh, they do... That's new to me.

Isn't Dogstooth lighter than tartan & basically just a cotton fabric?

These are my two.
I am very satisfied.
Is perhaps minimally warmer than the cotton only, but I like it and would order it again and again.
Especially for spring and fall I find it perfect. In the summer leather is usually too warm for me, no matter with what lining.

It's good to know that tartan is only minimally warmer than cotton.
Does the dogstooth feel lighter or heavier than the tartan?

The brown jacket looks awesome, what leather is it?

I'm not a fabric specialist, but I would think both are about the same thickness, with the dogstooth being a little coarser. I'll see if I can capture the differences on camera.

Both jackets are made from the veg tanned sheepskin
