It varies. Some Lost Worlds jacket feel like they're made out of straight up linoleum while others are very nice. They're all heavily plasticized though thus very resistant to wear and the elements and are remarkably waterproof.

Good luck with that! Be careful if buying from JP - those are often made from much thinner leather. Here's one I bought and then sold to a guy in Poland.
