For some reason, my dog knows when that package is from Bark Shop. Maybe she can read.
Bob, this little feller has changed my mind about little dogs. I always liked big dogs that could knock you down or wrestle roll around with. But this little guy reminds me of a little person. You can almost read his/her eyes. What is it, other tan sweet?
This is Ava Lenora our 1-year-old Toy Poodle and she is smart as a whip (but has an ornery side). Her big sister Izzy just turned 12.
Kitty helping wrap Christmas presents....
Great looking dogs !
Thank you much Hagwood. I'm sure you know they are brother & sister Cattledogs. Maxx, the spotted, (or is that speckled haha), is pretty much always on burglar patrol as you can see from his seriousness and Colby is a bit more laid back. You can tell by her 'smile'
Picked up a load of wood for the fire pit. Left the passenger door open on the truck as well as the gate. I have a couple that think an open car door is an invitation to ride or drive.
Sully was the first one in.
Ya’ll come on,
LJ made it.
Finally Bodie is here. We can leave.
The two big dogs stayed in the truck until it was unloaded and wouldn’t get out of the truck until I had taken them on a short drive through the neighborhood. Now my truck needs cleaning.
LOL. One day shortly after we got her, my wife came home from Lowe's with some paving stones in her trunk and we went out to unload. Since Jenna thinks the same - if the door's open, she's going for a ride. We found her - 70 lbs. of Pit Bull - sitting on the paving stones in the trunk and we had to convince her we weren't going anywhere and physically drag her out of the trunk.
Last week, we took delivery of a new sofa. As soon as it was delivered and set up, she was on it like (politically incorrect metaphor redacted). My wife immediately cried out, "we haven't even had a chance to sit on it and she's in my seat!"
She just wants belly rubs, though.
And should be given them at every opportunity.
The big boxer mix is a freak for car rides. We keep her car in the garage and Sully was out there with me one day while I was getting some things from her car. I closed the rear door, keeping him away with my foot. As soon as the door closed he jumped through the open window into the back seat. I figured with that sort of effort he deserved a ride and got one around the block. Couldn’t have been happier.
Bodie and my Maxx damn near could be twins!!!!
Boy, they could. Here’s a little better pic showing his face. He had a sister with identical markings reversed. We don’t know what became of her. Some folks don’t deserve dogs.
Rather than take his nightly walk our dog Butch will, on occasion, instead walk directly to the passenger door of my truck and not-so-patiently wait for us to open it so he can be chauffeured around the neighborhood. Spoiled? You bet.
I've photoshopped the two together...
Bodie's ears are perfect, Maxx not so much. Two great looking pups though!
Our two Poodles and our new addition, a Barbet.
From left to right,
Pedro, Stewie, and Phil. Phil is our brand new puppy.
Someone say "go for a ride?"
If an emergency vehicle with siren blaring passes quickly she seems only curious. If she hears a siren approaching from some distance away, she goes into this moan like howling at the moon.
What a great post. Maxx is such a fine looking dog. Luck of the draw on the ears. Bodie is ACD on his mom’s side and Visla and American Staffordshire terrier on the other. Wonder they stand up at all.
We need audio, HJ. Always good to see Traveller.
I love it when she does it. Something primal about it.
