This robe is on the cusp of Vintage and Retro, I believe my father got it in Japan when we were there in the mid to late 70's. It is black with deep red design of pagodas, thatch roof houses, deer, different kinds of trees, and mountains woven into the material. The lining is almost a robin's egg blue. The belt is made of the same woven material. The tag merely has "Made in Japan", a capital "J", and an "L" for the size.
