I have two long lounging robes and one smoking jacket.
can forward photo of the one robe if anyone is interested.
They are all in perfect condition.
One lounging robe is dark red and the short smoking jacket
is red also. The other long robe is dark blue with a
damask swirl design. They don't seem to have been
smoked in. All have belts.
the long blue robe is has a very soft silky feel
and is in great shape. All would fit someone tall but
not too stockly. Guess folks were thinner then.
Let me know of any interest. Send email and I
can forward pics.

I'm afraid your "private message" box is too full to accept any new messages, and I don't know your e-mail address, so:

Dear Ms Klein,

I'd love to know more about the short smoking jacket. The size would be interesting, of course.

Best regards!

If you like to answer, you could write a "private message" to me, or, if this doesn't work either, you might post a reply here, OK?

Actually she is at 12 posts and needs 15 posts total to be able to enable the private message functioning. Perhaps y'all can exchange emails in the mean time.

Ah, that would explain it. So, I'll enter my e-mail address to my profile. If you like, Ms Klein drop me a note.

Must clarify

Must amend my "perfect" description.
The blue robe has an ashes hole in the lapel.
Small, but there it is.
The robe is very dark so it could be mended
or left alone or -- are there masculine pins?
A military pin to hide it? What would
Cary Grant do is such a situation.
But other than that, it is really in good shape.
No "under the arms" or fraying, etc.
It is quite luxurious.

smoking jackets - lounging robes

There must be a 'Cary Grant' out there interested in these.
They are very cool. Really.
Any offer honored. They need a home with someone
who appreciates lounging around. There you are
sitting in your library reading Dashiell Hammet and
you're not dressed appropriately. What is wrong
Fedoras. Where is the tall, thin man!!!!
