Madeleine Carroll honoured

I heared this on the radio this morning and thought I would share it with you all.

Madeleine Carroll was known as the first of Alfred Hitchcock's "ice cool blondes" and became the highest paid Hollywood actress of her time.

But she later gave up her glamorous lifestyle to join the Red Cross during World War II and later worked for Unicef.
