Some of the big names from the 1940's were Stetson, Mallory, Lee, Disney , Dobbs and Cavanagh . You can tell by the ads that were placed in magazines like Esquire during that time period.

Thanks! Sometimes the only word that is correct in descriptions for older hats on OFAS is the manufacturer, and I was wondering what additional words I could search for.
