Making a Hat Block

This is the problem I am trying to address with my collection of blocks. I have a single block and flange in long oval.
I have found that at least 50% of my male clients are Long Oval. Women tend to be more Regular Oval. I have a #52 vintage block in 57cm that I use a lot for women clients.....it is a bit of a hybrid....a modified Reg Oval that works really well. Then of course there are those male 'tweeners'...they are the ones that pose the problem!!

If you contact Jaxon he might cut you a break if you buy full sets.

Hello all.

I am new to the group and just getting into Fedoras. I just retired today (30Apr24) from the military after 24 years of service. I need a hobby; so I think I want to get into making hats. I want to make my own hat block and other items. Does anyone have some templates that I can use? I want to make all my supplies from wood, either plywood or live edge. Even go into other materials.

Please advise.

Best,
Mel
