Thanks Andrew. It becomes even more fascinating with this link. I never knew about the Polish Air Force operating out of Scotland and England.

There is a lot of information there about the Polish Air Force in Great Britain during WWII. And we now know of at least one love story from the war years there in Scotland.

And thanks to Dr. Greg we now know how Griff's Grandfather got from internment in Russia to the UK. The members on this forum have a lot of knowledge of matters other than just jackets!
