My first fedora - and a question about fit

Pduck - Leave the crease in the front where you have it and just raise it a tad in the back to see what that does for you. That may float it up off your head without making the crown look taller.

that's a really nice looking hat you've got there, I love the dimensions. The crown is not too tall, the brim not too wide, and it doesn't have much taper like a lot of medium-size and smaller-size hats have. I like it! We'd you get it from?

I got it from John Helmer Haberdasher in Portland OR. They have a very interesting selection and the person I spoke with over the phone seemed very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about hats. They even link to the Fedora Lounge!
