Hate to say it, but...
There are not very many around. In Charlotte, there is Alexander Hats on Independence Blvd., and Holloway's Mens Wear on North Tryon. Holloway's isn't a hat shop, but is a clothing store that caters to black men and does carry a nice selection of hats.

There's not a thing out here in Western North Carolina as far as I know.
