New Hat Bar in Oz!

OK so I've had issues with Strand Hatters in Sydney in the past but I do like the sound of their new look store.

A full whisky bar in the back sounds like it may be worth investigating!

Popped in to have a look last week. It is a really, really, really nice fit out - one of the nicest shops around. Very classy. Dark (almost black japan) timber mouldings fitted right to the very high ceilings.

They now also stock Danielle Wallace ties and some other non-hat stuff.

Same crew running it - so I would expect the same kind of knowledgable-but-slightly-attitudinal service experience. To be honest, I have found if you kind of go along with their schtick it all works out okay.

Sadly I was not offered a glass of scoth (sic) while browsing.

Shame - A couple of fingers of decent scotch could tip the ballence when considering a purchase!
