I’m new to this, thanks for the add. This is my 5th hat. During pouncing these circles came up. You can feel them with your finger. Any ideas?

I think it is shellac traces. Try denatured alcohol in those areas to see if it takes it away.

So is that something the supplier would put on there? All I’ve done is block it and started pouncing. Thank you for your time.

Shellac is the typical stiffening agent most suppliers use. Fire the hat after pouncing and then steam the brim and that should remove it.
