regius stunning jacket. Is this a recent make. If recent good to know Johnson has source some good horsehide. I took delivery of a jacket from Johnson Leathers 3 weeks ago what have not been able to load pictures?

Hey PhilR, I have similar issue with standard size jackets regarding tapering. I bought jacket which I intent to send back to be tapered and I do not know exactlly how much? Do You have idea how much was Your jacket tapered for such perfect fit?

Hard to say because it was custom to begin with. Everything I read advises against trying to do steep alterations on store-bought leather jackets to do big waist measurement changes, it's always better to find a jacket maker to do it from scratch. I've only lucked into one store bought jacket that fit reasonably well before I had one made. Will post some followup photos of this original Johnson soon.

Thanks PhilR, I guess it is always better to predict something before it is done. Anyway, I think that tapering of already made jacket is not such a big deal (hopefully)?
