Photographer Catherine Corman has a book coming out in the fall called "Daylight Noir: Raymond Chandler’s Unreal City." Author Jonathan Lethem contributes a preface to the book.

Here's a site with some sample images from the book:

I'm hoping the photographs are fully annotated, with passages from Chandler's work accompanying each.

A similar book, Raymond Chandler's Los Angeles by Alain Silver and Elizabeth Ward, came out in 1989 and is still (or is again, perhaps) in print. I used that book a few years ago for a self-guided tour of Chandler's LA and was reasonably happy with it, but I'm looking forward to this new one (not that either book is meant to serve as a tour guide, but sometimes one must make do).

Who's the publisher? Will be it be available through Amazon?

Charta, an Italian publisher of art books.

I trust it will be available through Amazon, but I couldn't say for sure.
