I live in Albany NY and I'm trying to find somewhere to check out hats. The extent of my hat wearing was baseball caps back in high school. I'm not sure what exactly I want (fedora or porkpie) and I don't know the right sizing, so I figured I'd go to a store and get started on picking something out...
...but I can't find any shops near here that sell these sorts of hats! I know of a few in Manhattan but it'd definitely be a lot more convenient if there was a place up here. I had hoped that I could get them through the mens shop that I get my shirts made at, but they don't deal with hats at all and didn't know of anyone who does.
I know you guys are from all over the place but I was hoping maybe someone here is/was from upstate NY and has some recommendations on where I can go.
