I bought this MA-1 style Thedi jacket from eBay because I liked its appearance (and its price) and assumed I could refurbish it to some extent. Does anybody here have any information on this jacket, or what the next steps towards refurbishing it would be? I haven't been able to get in touch with the eBay seller yet, and I can't find any information on the internet. The leather looks intact to me, I think it will look sweet with some TLC. Thanks. - Frank

That does not look like a Thedi (as we know the brand today) jacket to me. Maybe some other company had the same name. I could be wrong. Go for it if you find it appealing, I certainly do not.

This is a very old Thedi, made before Theodoros worked on the Harley Davidson stuff. The really old Thedi jackets are not even remotely close to the quality of today's Thedi jackets. If you like it, go for it but don't expect top tier quality. I hope you got it for a very cheap price.

You must be Theodoros' biographer. Would be fun to provide a history/origin story - He must be well into his 70s now so lots of background history to cover for his business.

It's a very cool design, though. I like the idea of the 50s college jacket with a twist like the additional pocket.
