Open Road Panama Straw hat 7 3/8 +

Open Road style Panama hat in size 7 3/8+. Hat is marked a 7 5/8, but it fits a 3/8 long oval perfectly. Has a nice vintage stock 1/2" silver crown ribbon. Fabric sweatband is clean as is the hat overall. Nice dimensions to this hat. Front bash is 4 1/2 rear at 3 1/4.
Nicely done back woven brim is 3 1/8. Hat is extremely flexible and lightweight and the weave lets air pass for breath ability . A sharp versatile hat in excellent condition.

Those bands are more comfortable in summer than leather .

I agree with you cookie. I be replaced a fabric for a leather once and I regretted it as it does make the hat heavier and one sweats more with a leather band in warm weather.
