Opinions on the fit of my Aero 50's Half-Belt Requested

Rudie, we are the same size, try a 38 before trying to alter the cut of the jacket.

HighandDry, I went to a shop in Berlin that stocks Aero jackets. They didn't have a 30s Halfbelt, though. But I was able to try on a Highwayman in 38. It worked, but it was a very snug fit. I would have preferred a little more room for my shoulders. Chest and waist were okay, very slim-fitting. I've read numerous times on the Lounge that the Highwayman has a boxy fit, but this one fit like one of those very tight Luftwaffe numbers. Amanda told me that the 30s Halfbelt pattern is slimmer than the Highwayman, and even narrower shoulders wouldn't work for me. Amanda was at a loss and asked me to give Will a call. I'll probably do that next week.

Deacon, I really like the fit of your jacket! Zipped and unzipped! And I think the most important thing is to feel comfortable wearing it! The jacket looks good and if it feels good, too, there is no problem! Enjoy it!

The 30s half belt is snug but the shoulders are relatively wide.
