It says "Junior" "Alessandria" "Styled by Borsalino"

I've never seen one before. I bought it from South Street Hats in Philidelphia.

It has a cloth sweatband.

Oscar at the store assures me it's fur felt.

It's navy blue.

I've searched the internet and can't find any info. Maybe Steve at Benchcraft or
one of the other retailers could shed some light on it?

It almost looks too big, but it's probably just the proximity of the camera to the subject. Let's see some more shots from further away. Also, I think it would look sharp with a nice tilt. The color looks like a great match for you.

That's funny spellflower, I was thinking maybe it looked a little small.

Here's a couple more.

One at work, where it looks black:

Here's another one of the same hat. I think I'm having a real effect on my coworkers. Here I am with one of our News Anchors, showing off his Harris Tweed jacket.

Looks good! However, I'd suggest tilting it BACKWARDS so we can see those great eyes a little better. About 1 inch to 1.5 inches should show off those eyes nicely and show off the hat to better advantage.

You are the fortunate in that you could also consider a smaller brim too

Now that I see some more pics, my initial suspicion is confirmed- it just looked too big because of the point-blank, dead on picture- rarely the best angle at which to view a hat imho.

I agree with Betty that you could do a shorter brim, but I know that I could probably do shorter brims myself, but prefer to have something that will keep the sun out of my eyes.

The black looks good, but I liked it in blue too :p. Maybe for your first custom...

It's quite reminiscent of a hat I bartered away to a fellow Lounger. Very similar if not identical style (although a nice dark gray rather than that blue, which looks real good to me, by the way), Italian made (but no brand name), cloth sweat, raw edge, bought inexpensively from the local hat shop. Real nice felt, though. Wouldn't be surprised to learn they came out of the same plant.
It appears that our Italian brothers are aiming for a more budget-conscious market segment by offering a somewhat less-costly-to-manufacture lid (cloth sweat, raw edge, etc.). Makes a lot of sense to me. A person "just looking" is likelier to take a longer look at a lid that comes in well under a hundred bucks. Or so I'd imagine.
