Anyone have Paddy's post code....I have his address but he forgot to send me his post code. I have something for him I'd like to get in the post tomorrow, but I'm afraid he's on holiday. Any help?

If you have the address...it finds the postcode.

Miss N is correct, but you don't need a postcode to ship to (or within) the UK. All it does is give some chance (but no guarantee) of a next day delivery if 'first class' rate is paid.

Thanks to both of you...I didn't know you didn't need a post code. I did find it though. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything and the parcel didn't get lost. Thanks!

Another advantage to be had if you're using a private courier: they might be more likely to get it to you. I've had real trouble with some of them because while the address of my block is the road out front, vehicle access is round the back via a different road. Enough couriers have had trouble with this I have recently discovered (apparently some folks in the block actually give out the other road as the address), but if they have the post code they can generally find you - bearing in mind they all use sat nav as standard now.
