I've really grown to like this style myself. If only Langlitz weren't so spendy as a result of the weak pound!

Desi Arnez in The Long Long Trailer. A2 jacket, high waisted cuffed denim, and engineer boots. Some sort of TFL uniform. My wife and I watched it for the first time last night and she cracked up. “You dress like Ricky Ricardo” says she. I would’ve bet that guy was born in a suit.

Strongly considering sending a couple of jackets to JL for just that reason. One of the best combos.

it would be. Just finished a long flight back home and spent a good portion of it trying to figure out which jacket to pair with this leather.

I believe TB also can get Aero jackets built in this leather. The Indian Ranger would be cool.

I was thinking about the tapering of halfbelt jackets, modern repro makers tend to maintain that the 40s and 50s originals are not very tapered, but this person in this photo seesm to defy such notion. This african-american gentleman must be at least six foot, certainly athletic built, with a shoulder to waist ratio of dramatic degree. He was able to find a HB that is flattering, in both the sleeve department, shoulder, and waist taper!

So the question is why our favourite maker may HB always seem to be made for Spongebob? ;)
