These newspapers are a great historical achive; while also being
authentic artifacts. Hopefully, national newspapers will save
such testament for posterity.

When I was a student at University of Hawaii, I looked through all the old Honolulu Advertisers and Star Bulletins. They are on microfiche so as long as they continue to preserve them future generations can see them. Time is so brutal on paper.
