For ages Ive been accumulating several different pocketknives that caught my eye. No one particular style is my favorite, but I do lean toward older styles like Stockmen or Trappers. I routinely have different ones in the pocket every day. My biggest issue has been my desk drawers were filling up with loose gear lol. A few weeks ago I picked up a nice little knife storage case to organize things a bit. everything stays clean, reduced chance of scratches, and theyre easier to look through and pick the pocket accessory of the day. Best thing is that there are still empty slots so I can go find more!

I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but my favorite Buck model is the 305 lancer which was discontinued in 2017, I have 12 currently with a few that I still need to check off my list.

The best were made from '85-'99 in my opinion.

That Schrade that I worked on, I took it back apart after getting some more stag so I could have stag covers on both side.

It's polish red deer on the pile side and American whitetail on the mark side, but at least it's stag on both sides.
I have since given this knife to my uncle and he loves it, dropped it straight into his pocket.

Great knives. It will be interesting to see your collection
Thanks B. Good to hear from you. I’ll post some pics as I snap them, and if I can get into this site.

If you really want to see some great knives I’d check out BladeForums. The folks there won’t disappoint. Apparently, there are a few members who also post here. Pretty cool. Leather jackets and knives- the way to go.

@JMax, i'm always glad to see you here too! Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer of us here. Do you remember my posts about finding jackets on eBay?)

Yeah, it’s too bad. The nature of forums I guess. But too bad.

I do not, sorry. What was it about? I likely recall once reminded.

I still search on eBay for good deals on interesting jackets and vests. And I think I finally found a local leather repair shop to work on my gear. That took some time.

Every day I found leather jackets at good prices on eBay and shared them here on the forum. That was many years ago. It was a fun time)
